Tough Battlefield 1 System Requirements Announced

Now that the successful Battlefield 1 open beta is over the folks over at DICE / EA have released the PC hardware suggestions for the game title that is coming out on October 21st, 2016. Battlefield game titles have always been pretty tough on PC hardware and Battlefield 1 appears to be no different despite BF1 using the most optimized version of the Frostbite engine yet. The minimum system specs suggest that an Intel Core i5 6600K or AMD FX-6350 or better processors should be used. On the video card side you are looking at the AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB or the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB or better for the bare minimum needed to play BF1

  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Battlefield 1 Recommended PC Specs

  • Processor (AMD): AMD FX 8350 Wraith
  • Processor (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790 or equivalent
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
  • DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
  • Available Disk Space: 50GB

The recommended system specs suggest using an AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB graphics card, so if you want to play BF1 with all the eye candy you might need to go run out and buy one of the latest and greatest video cards by AMD or NVIDIA.

AMD is offering a Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition upgrade code when you purchase a Radeon RX 480 graphics card! Radeon RX 480 graphics cards feature Asynchronous shaders, AMD FreeSync technology and enhanced overclocking power for new levels of smooth gameplay at superior framerates. AMD is also offering access to the game on October 18, 2016, 3 days before launch with the purchase of the card. We aren’t aware of any NVIDIA promotions or specials just yet, but you never know.
