Time to Set Sail with Sea of Thieves Me Hearties

During the Microsoft E3 Press Conference, we learned we can live the life of a pirate with our friends. Microsoft along with developer Rare Announced Sea of Thieves a pirate game that was actually announced at last year’s E3. The Trailer Microsoft played showed us a galleon in the midst of an ocean battle giving all who seen the footage the idea of what the players would be doing. Players will be working together to take to the seas, fire cannons, and crew pirate ships. Yes, this game it a MMO-type game where there will be others that you can force to swab the deck of your ship.

Microsoft also showed us gameplay footage of players who had no knowledge about the game playing and eventually joining forces to crew one of the games ships on the high seas. The gameplay footage also shows the players unfurled sails, turning rudders, and swimming ashore to explore new locations. But the pirate life is not all about exploring and swimming we want to fight to tell our crew to man the cannons and to blast them landlubbers out of our waters or to tell someone to walk the plank. Microsoft showed us that we can turn our cannons against enemy pirates or each other.
You can blast holes into your enemy ships forcing them to run, repair, or sink to the bottom of the sea to Davy Jones Locker. The players that had no knowledge of how the game work ship started to take on water during their fight they had to swim or sink. But as a last resort you can use an option if your losing by ramming the other ship taking them down with you – sorry Im a sore loser, but it is a tactic! Microsoft didnt say when we could expect to get our hands on Sea of Thieves, but when it comes out we will be first in line to get it!
