TT eSPORTS Challenger Pro Macro

After getting the Challenger Pro keyboard in place and plugging it in, I installed the Challenger Pro software version 2.1.4. After the software is finished installing, the computer will need to reboot so the new keyboard drivers can be installed correctly. Looking at the Tt eSPORTS GUI, we can see that the Challenger Pro comes with the ability to have four different profiles loaded at one time. The lighting on the keyboard also has four different options as well, off, 25%, 75% and 100% brightness. The keyboard profiles can be saved to the computers hard drive and loaded when needed giving it an unlimited number of potential profiles. In Starcraft II, there are three races which have different key commands for each race. I saved the three different profiles as a Starcraft keyboard collection. I also play World of Warcraft and can save up to four different character macros into one collection. Just make sure you load up the correct settings before playing, otherwise you may get some unexpected results.

The Challenger Pro, as mentioned earlier, has 10 macro keys which can be programmed to repeat a series of keyboard actions in a game such as Starcraft II or World of Warcraft.

When setting up a macro key, you just press record and start pressing the keys for the action required and save the profile to the keyboard.

The first time I did this, I didnt press the keys very fast, so in game the macro result was rather slow. Luckily I was able to go back and change the time delay between the keys making the action run very quickly. Just click on the key that has a long delay time, change the time to the desired delay and click on the Insert Delay Time key.

Once all the macro keys have been set, you can now save the entries to the hard drive. This allows you to load your macros for a new game or reload the settings if the keyboard was disconnected. I saved my first set of macros as starcraft2 and then proceeded to create another collection for World of Warcraft.

Once your macros are saved, you can then upload them to the keyboard. Other features that can be installed on the macro keys are things like copy, paste or launch which allows you to start a program using a macro key. You can select these as well as a few others options when programming the macro keys. I wasnt quite sure why these features would be available on a gaming keyboard, but thought they could be useful in other applications such as Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop.
