Fist we will look at the stock idle temperatures. The Thermaltake DuOrb is neck and neck with the ZEROtherm NV-120, and well ahead of the stock Intel cooler by 15 degrees.
Under full load we are again mirroring the stock temps with the DuOrb and NV-120 still neck and neck, and again well under the stock Intel cooler by 20 degrees.
So let’s turn up the heat and see how the DuOrb handles. With the Intel Q6600 overclocked 3.0GHz the DuOrb and the NV-120 are still neck and neck, with both still well ahead of the stock Intel cooler by 16 degrees.
With the Q6600 overclocked and under full load we can see a gap start to form between the coolers. The DuOrb falls just below the NV-120 by 3 degrees, but both coolers are a full 27 degrees ahead of the stock Intel cooler.
