Intel Atom CE media processor CE5335: low power, high performance

Thanks to Thecuss close relationship with Intel, we have once again been able to keep on the leading-edge of SoC and NAS integration. With the 30% increase in processing power provided by Intels latest Atom chip, the N2560 and N4560 are able to provide home and SMB users with an unprecedented performance/cost ratio.

Multitasking now twice as easy

With growing functionality comes growing demands on networks multitasking capabilities. To help your home or SMB network keep pace with these and other advances, the N2560 has had its memory doubled to 2GB of advanced DDR3 RAM. With this increase, your NAS can easily accommodate multiple users and their multimedia requirements.

What we wanted to do with this release was improve both connectivity and usability. As a result, we incorporated support for our new T-OnTheGo app into both models. We also made sure that our new models came preinstalled with Local Display and XBMC so that they could be a plug-and-play media center for users. Finally, we are proud to announce the launch of our online NAS App Center where users can easily find and download the latest official and third-party modules for their Thecus NAS devices.

The quickest and most effective way to access your NAS

Available for both the N2560 and N4560 is Intelligent NAS. Our unique tool for accessing your NAS directly without a web browser, Intelligent NAS is a powerful utility that gives you quick and feature-packed access to your stored data.
