The $10 million genomics race

The X-Prize Foundation is hoping the cash prize will inspire someone to sequence the hunam genome faster and cheaper than in the past. $1 million dollars will be given for decoding the genomes of 100 people, including wealthy donors and celebrities. I think this is a great contest and hope that it is used to help humans and not insurance companies.
