Target Leaks Middle Earth: Shadow of War 2017 Release

Warner Brothers Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor was an early success near the time current gen consoles were released. The fighting style similar to WB Games Batman Arkham series continued with Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor along with an impressive and intricate nemesis combat system. WB Games has not announced any further projects for a Middle Earth sequel, but such plans have been revealed. Target.com may have possibly leaked real information along with box art on a sequel to Middle Earth titled, Middle Earth: Shadow of War.

Target had posted a pre-order listing for Middle Earth: Shadow of War with two separate box arts. One being a standard edition for both PS4 and XBOX One and the other box art being a gold edition for both consoles as well. No specification for a PC version was leaked, not to say there are no plans for a PC edition under development.

Alas, the leaked information has provided a release date. If the leak is accurate, expected release date of Middle Earth: Shadow of War is on August 22, 2017. The first game of the series is in fact also available for PC so it is likely there is a PC edition in the works as well.
