HD Tach v3.0.4.0

HD Tach is a low level hardware benchmark for random access
read/write storage devices such as hard drives, removable drives
(ZIP/JAZZ), flash devices, and RAID arrays. HD Tach uses custom device
drivers and other low level Windows interfaces to bypass as many layers
of software as possible and get as close to the physical performance of
the device possible.

Benchmark Results: Here in HD Tach we see a huge difference in the Burst Speed test, which went from 35.0 MB/s to 197.8 MB/s! This is an impressive 5.5x increase in burst speed performance using the same hard drive and motherboard! The average read test was just an impressive impressive going from 34.9 MB/s to 113.6 MB/s, while the CPU usage and random access numbers stayed roughly the same.
