Super Mario Run Update Adds Remix 10 and More

Super Mario Run has been around for iOS gamers for a while now and after all that time the game has received its first major update. The biggest thing about the new update is called Remix 10. That feature takes those familiar levels that you have played before and cobbles them together so you have no idea what you are in store for.

The update also brings with it a new world with nine new levels to play. Those levels aren’t unlocked as soon as you update, you do have to play through the old worlds and then find a certain number of coins on each level to unlock the next. Players can also unlock a new character to play with.

The character is Princess Daisy and she is unlocked by playing through the new Remix 10 mode. Nintendo has also allowed players to listen to their own music while playing as well. When you listen to your music, Mario and other characters you play wear headphones. The thing that many have complained about since Super Mario Run first launched was its cost.

The game normally sells for $9.99. It’s a free download, but to play all the worlds you need to cough up the cash via in-app purchase. For the first two weeks the new update is out you can buy the game for 50% off reports The Verge.
