SteelSeries’ Siberia Elite Gaming Headset @ BlizzCon 2013

SteelSeries had a huge presence at this year’s BlizzCon in Anaheim, California.  The gaming peripheral company had tons of Blizzard-inspired gear like their World of Warcraft MMO Mouse to their StarCraft II and MLG Edition game surfaces. One thing that caught our eye, however, was the long-awaited Siberia Elite Gaming Headset that has just recently gone on sale.  The Siberia Elite Headset is equipped with Dolby 7.1 surround sound technology which is helped by the Siberia’s extra-large memory foam ear cushions.

The SteelSeries Engine has also been updated and will allow users to select light and EQ settings.  The SteelSeries Siberia Elite Gaming Headset is now on sale at the SteelSeries website for $199.99. For a limited time, you can get 30% off selected merchandise as SteelSeries celebrates BlizzCon 2013.  Enter promo code BLIZZ2K13 at checkout to receive discount.  More details on this offer here

  • Not a good first impression…

Well my Siberia Elite Headset just arrived and there were immediately few problems. First problem was that when I pulled the mic out, the sound would disappear from the right driver. And it would do the same even if I turned my head really fast. The second problem was with the steelseries engine 3. It would recognize my headset as 9H so the lights wont work… The sound is amazing though when it works properly. I will get refund from these and buy Sennheisers… 😀
