SteelSeries Release Apex, World’s Fastest Gaming Keyboard
Today, SteelSeries released the Apex Gaming Keyboard and are calling it the World’s Fastest Gaming Keyboard. The SteelSeries Apex features a very unique design and keyboard layout that you can see in the picture below. The Apex has low-profile keys, customizable zones of color, and anti-ghosting technology that supports 20 simultaneous key presses during gaming use. SteelSeries has also outfitted the Apex with specialty designed keys for your custom macros and an enlarged space bar for more comfort. The SteelSeries Apex is available now for $99.99 from various retailers and from the SteelSeries Web Shop.
Powered by the SteelSeries Engine, the Apex can be completely remapped including the twenty-two macro keys found above the function keys and along the left side of the keyboard. With the capability to program up to four separate layers of the keyboard, users now have more than 500 keys for instant control, multiple layouts, profiles, and commands that they choose and customize for any game.
