Star Wars: Battlefront II Unveiled at Star Wars Celebration

Star Wars: Battlefront II is happening and the game will have a single player mode for those who want some Star Wars action, but aren’t big on multiplayer gaming. EA unveiled the game officially during the Star Wars Celebration and the only bad news for fans is that the game is months off from actually launching.

That official launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC games will come on November 17 reports Kotaku. You can see the official trailer below. The trailer shows a character in the form of a female Storm Trooper called Iden Versio who recounts “the day the real war began.” Also seen in the trailer are a bunch of fights with stuff exploding in space, the Emperor, Darth Maul and lots more.

I’ve always rather liked Darth Maul, he was for me the highpoint of his film. The Battlefront II will allow players to take the form of Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren and other Star wars characters. With many being upset that Battlefront lacked a single player mode, this game will have missions from all three eras of the Star Wars franchise.

Space battles will be a big part of Battlefront II with dog fights that have up to 24 players in Tie-fighters and X-Wings. The ships have unique roll and progression abilities. Main heroes like Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren will have their own custom ships.
