Spyro The Dragon Trilogy Remastered Rumored for 2018

By

PS4 fans have a new remastered game to look forward to this year, assuming a new rumor is correct. The rumor claims that Spyro The Dragon will be getting a remaster and hitting the PS4. Last year the best selling PS4 exclusive game of all was the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which is owned by Activision as is Spyro.

Rumors claim that the remastered Spyro trilogy will be announced in March and that the game will launch this fall. It is said to be a single release that will have remastered versions of the PS1 games Spyro The Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon on one disc.

That Crash Bandicoot game had updated graphics, animation, and cutscenes, the same is expected for the Spyro game. Fans can also expect a remastered soundtrack, modern save system, and possibly some content that was cut from the original games reports Metro.co.uk.

A good guess for an actual launch date will be sometime in September since that is the month the franchise celebrates its 20th anniversary. Retro gamers that played the original and were fans will be looking forward to this game.
