Splatoon 2 Update Brings New Weapon Collection

By

Fans of the Switch game Splatoon 2 have a new update that has rolled out bringing the game to version 4. The update brings with it new weapon sets, Splatfests changes, and new in-game content for those who subscribe to Switch Online service for a year.

The weapons are part of the Kensa Collection and arent all new. They are versions of familiar weapons that are finished in monochromatic colors and sport red laundry clips. Nintendo has also confirmed that version 4.1 will land next month and bring a second Kensa Collection of weapons and a new stage.

Splatfests Solo and Team modes are being replaced with Normal and Pro modes. Normal mode lets one to three players form a team and combine points to determine clout. Teams can earn team nicknames and matching bonuses reports DualShockers.

Pro mode has players getting into matches alone and being judged on Splatfest Power. Defeating teams with higher power earns more clout with the goal being to make it into the Splatfest Top 100. The video above talks more about the changes.
