SilverStone Sugo SG07 Mini-ITX Case Intro

Back in January of this year, yours truly had the chance to get a sneak peak at the SilverStone Sugo SG07 Mini-ITX case. At the time it was merely a prototype, but we were impressed with the design as would anyone that views a small form factor chassis that will fit the behemoth 12.2″ Radeon HD 5970 card without bursting at the seams.

We finally had our chance to see just how the final version turned out and build one for ourselves. For $199, or $20 more for the windowed version, at first blush they might seem a little on the pricey side but if you need to stuff a large card in a small case, your options are severely limited. Also, consider that a significant portion of that price is due in part to the 600W included power supply.

Weighing in at roughly 10.8 pounds, the diminutive case is deceptively hefty but that generally means a solid construction. So the only people who may be bothered by this are the ones whose PC tends to be mobile.

I found the above disclaimer entertaining although this case is indeed unique and reading the instructions is always a prudent pre-build activity. Speaking of unique, check out the features and specifications.
