Scuf Vantage Controller for PS4 has Xbox Elite Flavor

By

Xbox Gamers have the slick Microsoft Xbox Elite Controller to enjoy, but the PS4 fans out there dont have an equivalent controller from Sony. A third-party controller maker called Scuf is stepping up and filling the gap for PS4 gamers with a slick new controller called the Scuf Vantage. The back side of the Vantage has paddle buttons and on the front are asymmetrical analog sticks.

There are four back paddles in total and a pair of programmable side buttons along with a touchpad that can be tapped to mute the game instantly. The buttons can be remapped to whatever you want for endless customization to each of your favorite games.

Scuf’s Vantage controller most certainly isnt cheap with an MSRP of $170 for a wired version. A wireless version is offered for $200 and honestly who wants wires these days so that’s the only real option.

Scuf is taking pre-orders right now with the ship date set for August. Scuf licensed some of its tech to Microsoft for the Xbox Elite controller if you are wondering about the resemblance between this and the Xbox Elite controller reports CNET.
