3DMark 2013 has several preset benchmarks, however the most demanding is Fire Strike. Fire Strike is a DirectX 11 test that renders detailed graphics in real time. This makes it the best one to use when testing a gaming system.
Ice Storm is the entry level benchmark, the R7 260X came close to the score of the HD7870 and within throwing distance of the R7950.
The second 3DMark benchmark is Cloud Gate, the Sapphire 260X falls back a little, but still manages to perform rather well.
Once again, the R7 260X outperforms the GTX 560Ti, but falls short of the other AMD cards.
Benchmark Results: While not definitive, 3DMark is a good indicator of performance; that’s why it’s considered a standard. The Sapphire R7 260X performed well against more powerful and expensive video cards.
