SAPPHIRE Technology recently introduced a new family of mini-PCs based on the latest Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) technology from AMD, codenamed Trinity. The SAPPHIRE Edge VS series delivers fantastic performance and stunning graphics in a small format for a wide range of applications, whatever the environment. The flagship model is the Sapphire Edge VS8 (shown below) and it is powered by the the AMD APU A8 1.6GHz Quad Core processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 500GB hard drive. Windows 7/8 is not included. No word on pricing, but we expect it to be under $300.
