Rumors have started flying around, that Samsung is going to show off their latest flagship phone, the Galaxy S4, at CES 2013. It is said to have a 5-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display at 468 ppi. It’s unclear whether or not this phone will have the Gorilla Glass 2, or the new Gorilla Glass 3. The S4 is also said to launch with Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2, while featuring the Exynos 5450 chip, featuring a quad-core processor clocked at 2GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a MicroSD slot, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. Connectivity wise, it will have an LTE radio with 802.11 a/b/g/n for WiFi.
Unfortunately, these details may only be announced to key partners and special invitees at CES.
An earlier IBTimes UK report detailed a few of the rumoured features for the next in Samsung’s acclaimed Galaxy S series of smartphones, the S4. However, as the report stated, the South Koreans are unlikely to officially announce the device at CES and will probably only showcase it to key partners and special invitees.
