Fans of the Resident Evil franchise in Japan have a new title in the franchise landing for the Switch. The game is Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and it isn’t landing for the console in physical format. The game is available digitally only and it is said to be a “cloud version” of the game.

The official launch date is listed as May 24. To play the game the player installs a 45MB file on the Switch and must have an internet connection all the time. There is a 15-minute trial available to play and the full game costs the equivalent of $18.

As of now, the game is only on the Japanese eShop and only the Japanese language is supported. It’s not clear if it will land for other regions in the future. The Cloud Version does support all the downloadable content that landed for the title originally reports Polygon.

That means it comes with Banned Footage Volume 1 and 2, End of Zoe, and Not a Hero. The game originally launched last year on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One. There is no word on how the game plays since it appears to stream from the internet.
