Red Dead Redemption 2 Pre-Loads Start this Week

By

If you have been half expecting Rockstar to delay the long-anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 again, you aren’t alone. It looks like this time Rockstar will really deliver with the announcement that pre-loads of the game will start this week. Specifically, those who plan on buying the game can pre-load it on Friday, October 19 at 12 am ET reports WCCFtech.

The full launch of the game happens on October 26 on PS4 and Xbox One. While earlier reports were that the game would land at a massive 105GB install, it’s a bit smaller than that. The install will be 88.75GB on Xbox One and 89.2GB on the PS4.

Those are still among the biggest install sizes for any games on the consoles and fans will want to pre-load the game so they can jump right in on October 26th. Rockstar is offering standard, special, and ultimate editions of the game.

Each version will offer different bonuses. Red Dead Redemption 2 is shaping up to be one of the hottest games launched in recent memory. The only thing left is an official launch trailer set to land today and word on when the game will come to PC.
