Polk Audio Brings Audiophile Quality to E3 2014 with Striker

Polk Audio is one of those companies who you do not initially associate with PC and console gaming. They have more 40 years of experience in high-performance audio and sound engineering and design. Over the past couple of years, however, we have seen Polk Audio been an active participant on the floor of the foremost electronics gaming convention E3 Expo. They arent just there for show either, they have been delivering various products that are making an impact with gamers.

This week at E3, Polk Audio introduced their Striker headset designed for next-generation gaming platforms. The $89 Striker offers gamers an affordable headphone with superior sound capabilities that will enhance all aspects of a game and a gaming experience. The Striker comes in three colors: black, grey/blue and white/orange. They will officially ship in early October, but we had a chance to try the Striker out at E3 and we have to admit, the pre-production sets sounded pretty darn good. We can wait to see and hear the final shipping model.
