NVIDIA RTX Titan Teaser Campaign Stokes Geek Lust

By

NVIDIA took to social media over the weekend to subtly tease a new video card that gamers are excited about. The teaser campaign was for the NVIDIA RTX Titan with three images showing different social media types showing off the card in different ways. Some of the teases were subtle, and others not so much.

The sightings happened via a YouTube video from Linus Tech Tips, Andrew Ng, and Gavin Free. Other teases have happened since then. In one of the teases, the Titan video card can be seen inside a machine with an open side case.

Another shows the RTX Titan package sitting atop a computer chassis in the background of a video. The other tease is much less subtle and simply shows the Titan sitting atop a computer case. There are currently no firm specs offered.

Rumors suggest that card will have a full Turing TU102 GPU with 4,608 CUDA cores, 200 TMUs, 90 ROPs, 576 Tensor cores, and 72 RT cores reports Hexus. NVIDIA is also tipped to cram 12GB of GDDR6 RAM inside. The teaser images also show that the card will use a pair of 8-pin power adapters. Pricing rumors are thinking over $1,800 for the card. Ouch!
