NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS 384MB and 768MB Video Card Pictures Leak Out

Chinese website Yeston has a ton of pictures posted of the upcoming GeForce 8800 GS 384MB and GeForce 8800 GS 768MB graphics cards. The site reports that it will cost less than the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT series although the GeForce 8800 GS will use the same G92-150 core. The GeForce will have fewer stream processors, but with 96 enabled it should be able to hang close to the performance of the 112 on the GeForce 8800 GT series. The memory bus has been reduced from 256-bit to 192-bit, so a number of changes have taken place. Since the core is the same it will be likely that enthusiasts will be able to mod the cards to ‘unlock’ the additional stream processors.

The core on the GeForce 8800GS 384MB is said to be clocked at 575/1700MHz, which is slightly lower than the 8800GT as it is 600/1800MHz. The GeForce 8800GS 768MB edition is said to have an astonishing clock frequency of 650/1900MHz. Notice the core is stamped G92-150.
