NVIDIA CES 2013 Special Event Being Broadcast Tonight At 8pm PT

NVIDIA is hosting a special event tonight (Sunday, January 6) at 8:00 PM PT, featuring NVIDIA President, CEO and Co-Founder, Jen-Hsun Huang. NVIDIA has not said anything about what the special announcement will be, but we are expecting to see Tegra 4 for the very first time. Tegra 4 (code-named “Wayne”) has been rumored to be offering 6x more performance than current Tegra 3 SoCs according to rumors online. A purported leaked NVIDIA slide suggests Tegra 4 will have a “4-Plus-1 Quad Core Eagle” CPU, 72-core GPU, DD3L memory support, SuperSpeed USB 3.0, 2560 x 1600 pixel-resolution support along with VP8 acceleration and H.264HP, and that it is built on the 28 nanometer manufacturing process. We will find out what NVIDIA will be unveiling soon and can’t wait to see what it is! This event will be webcast live so check back here on to watch the action live!
