No Man’s Sky Update 1.31 Patches Atlas Rises Issues

By

No Man’s Sky players who have been playing the new Atlas Rises content update might have noticed some issues with that update that made it less than perfect. The developer of the game, Hello Games, has now rolled out a new update to address some Atlas Rises issues. The 1.31 update has patched an issue that caused a crash when accessing the galactic map with too many waypoints active.

The update also addressed a crash some players were fighting when pinning certain tech. Another fix with the update involves a crash that happens when players with a particularly long playthrough attempted to save the game. Errors preventing guild missions from crediting were also fixed.

A patch for those issues is all well and good, but apparently the patch also created some new issues. Players of the game are reporting new issues found with bugs like the loss of crafting recipies and starship techs not opening. Another patch to address those issues is expected soon.

There are still outstanding issues in Atlas Rises update that need to be addressed, Twinfinite reports that NPCs in one of the home bases won’t give essential missions to players and those missions are required for the game to progress. Another major bug has to do with the teleporters used to travel back to home base, locations are overwritten if you use the teleporter in too many planetary systems making it very difficult to get back to home base.
