Nintendo NES Classic and SNES Classic Restock Today

By

If you have been trying to purchase an NES or SNES Classic and have been unable to get hands on the consoles so far, you have another chance starting today. Both the small retro Nintendo consoles are coming back in stock, but the caveat is that stock will be very limited, so you better be ready to buy.

This marks the first time in a while that the NES Classic has been available with its retro games and cool looks. Originally the NES Classic was very hard to find, and scalpers were buying up most of them and then selling them for much more than the asking price making Nintendo and gamers mad. Steps were put in place to ensure more availability for the SNES Classic when it launched.

Stock for the NES Classic is confirmed at GameStop, ThinkGeek, and Best Buy along with other locations. Online and physical store availability is expected. Stock will be very tight as GameStop is only expected to have about ten units per store to start. Best Buy will be using physical tickets for sales of units it has.

If you get a ticket, you get a console. SNES Classic is popping up here and there on Amazon, sometimes at a markup via third-party sellers. Stock is confirmed in some New York GameStop stores says CNET. Nintendo promises that both consoles will be offered for the rest of 2018.
