Asustek to showcase MEMS e-sticks for notebook games next year

Asustek Computer will showcase gyroscope e-sticks and gaming software for notebooks during Computex Taipei next year as the company explores the business opportunities of MEMS in the notebook market, according to sources with gyroscope makers. Dell, Lenovo and LG Electronics (LGE) are also planning to introduce notebooks supporting e-stick functions.

Notebooks supporting e-stick functions and coming with built-in gaming sofatware target the high-end market segment, the sources said,a adding that gyroscope makers hope the PC games will stimulate demand for gyroscopes.
