Prices for microSD cards increase 50% in one day
With Samsung Electronics reducing its microSD supply to the market, price for microSD card saw a record high daily increase of 50%, according to market sources.
With Toshiba and Hynix already reducing their NAND flash production in the fourth quarter, Samsung used the market situation to create a tight supply situation in order to boost the price of microSD cards and NAND flash, the market sources explained.
