Nintendo respond to Wii breakages

Nintendo have announced that they will replace any broken straps on the new Wii. There have been a number of reports across the internet of people breaking their TV sets after getting too involved in their gaming. Nintendo have said they will replace all broken straps for free. They also announced that all new Wii's will come with a new "enhanced" strap to circumvent any future mishaps by over enthusiastic gamers.

Games firm Nintendo has said it will replace all broken straps for its Wii console, following customer complaints. The strap is connected to a motion sensitive remote which is used to control the on-screen action.
