Icy Dock Introduces the MB981U3N-1SA USB 3.0 2.5in / 3.5in SATA/IDE HDD & SSD Adapter

Icy Dock have introduced their universal HDD and SSD external adapter, with the headline feature of a superfast 5Gb/s USB 3.0 connection, allowing for much faster data transfer than possible over USB 2.0. The PC and Mac compatible MB981U3N-1SA adapter allows the connection of almost all 2.5" or 3.5" SATA/IDE HDD or SSD storage devices. The adapter has also been designed to be as compact as possible, minimising the amount of desk space required. A small PSU is supplied with the adapter to power 3.5" HDDs, however, most 2.5" HDDs or SSDs won't even need this. The adapter also features an illuminated power button, to turn off the devices when not needed. The device comes with a 3 year warranty. More pictures and full details are available at the link below.
