Club 3D Announces HD 7990 6GB Dual GPU Graphics Card

Club 3D has announced its Radeon HD 7990 6GB dual GPU graphics card. AMD don't make dual GPU reference cards, making this a custom design. The card is effectively two HD 7970 cards in one, so Club 3D claim performance 40% faster than a single HD 7970. This sounds like a conservative estimate however, as its likely capable of much more than this since some games achive nearly 100% scaling and many much more than 40% with CrossFire. It can also be paired with another HD 7990 to build a quad GPU monster setup.

It features a triple slot heatpipe cooler with three PWM fans, claimed to keep the card at just 65C when running the card hard in 3D with a "reasonable" noise level of 33.9dBA under load. Of course, it features the usual EyeFinity support too, which is what a top end card like this is really made for. Full info and product page are available at the link below. It will be interesting to see this card reviewed against its competition, NVIDIA's GTX 690.

If you expect above average performance of your Graphics card, Club 3D CoolStream High Performance Cooling Technology is just the kind of high performance that you have been looking for. Club 3D CoolStream features high performance heatpipes that keeps the components cool and outperforms standard cooling solutions. Paired with a unique fan blade design it increases airflow while reducing noise. The result is a dramatic increase of performance for your gaming and multimedia experience.
