MSI Announces GE70 & GE60 Gaming Notebooks With Killer NIC

MSI has announced the 17.3" GE70 & 15.6" GE60 gaming notebooks, featuring identical specifications apart from the screen size. The notebooks feature Intel's latest 3rd generation Core i7 QC series processors, up to 16GB DDR3 memory and upgraded graphics with NVIDIA's GTX660M GPU featuring 384 CUDA cores and 2GB GDDR5 memory giving around 15% faster performance than the last generation GTX560M GPU.


Other features include a Full HD 1920x1080 screen, premium THX surround sound, up to 128GB SSD and 750GB HDD storage, Killer gaming network chip, 802.11b/g/n wireless networking, Bluetooth v4.0, SteelSeries keyboard, 720p webcam, 6 cell 49Wh battery and Windows 7 in Ultimate, Professional or Home Premium editions. The upgraded GE70 and GE60 boast Nvidia's newest Geforce GTX660M graphics chip with 384 CUDA cores and 2GB of DDR5 graphics memory. They racked up over P11,500 points on the world-renowned 3D Mark Vantage. These machines are guaranteed to keep you riveted. The new Kepler production process allows the DirectX11 to reach peak performance for a much smoother game and better visuals and works together with the full HD 1080P screen to provide you with such incredibly crisp details that you'll find yourself totally engrossed in your movie or game.
