Samsung’s Award-Winning Series 9 Monitor Now Available

Samsung has released its new Series 9 LED backlight desktop monitors, featuring a 27" screen size with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 2560x1440 resolution. They come with Natural Color Expert technology, which provides a richer viewing experience for graphic artists, photographers and designers.

"More and more, consumers are demanding products that allow them to better view, edit and share their photos, videos and entertainment content," said Todd Bouman, vice president of product marketing at Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division. "With its sleek, elegant silhouette, coupled with Samsung’s signature best-in-class viewing experience, the Series 9 monitor is a must-have for consumers that want the best in elegant design, stunning display quality and convenient functionality to create the best overall viewing experience possible."

The Samsung Series 9 27" LED desktop monitor features a professional-grade PLS panel, Quad HD resolution and Mobile High Definition Link (MHL), allowing users to connect a tablet or smartphone and view videos, images or games from that device. In addition, each Series 9 monitor is individually hand calibrated by Samsung engineers through an hour-long calibration process ensuring that every unit leaving the factory is ready for the ultimate user experience.

Starting at $1,199.99, the Series 9 will be available through an exclusive prelaunch with NewEgg from June 1 – June 28 and then through Tiger Direct, MicroCenter, CDW, Buy.com and others from June 29 onwards.
