Android 4.0 Upgrade For 16 HTC Smartphones

HTC have announced on their blog that Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwhich" is coming to 16 of their smartphones over the next few weeks. The lucky phones are all recent models: DROID Incredible 2, Amaze 4G, Desire S, Desire HD, Evo 3D, Evo Design 4G, Incredible S, Sensation, Sensation 4G, Sensation XE, Sensation XL, Raider, Rezound, Rhyme, Thunderbolt and Vivid.

HTC are in the early stages of rolling out Android 4.0 for the Sensation and Sensation XE, with further upgrades available within a few weeks. It's important to note that while HTC might be updating the phones, they won't necessarily be available to users straight away as it will take time for the carriers around the world to get the update.

Image Description

Please note, once we start pushing out updates it will take time for all carriers in each country to get the update. We are working closely with our carrier partners to nail down update schedules for our other smartphones and will have more to share very soon.
