Apple unveiled its new series of MacBook lineups in their Hello Again annual event held on October 27. The announcement has stirred many emotions and for good purpose. Apple has revealed one cannot plug in new iPhone 7 headphones into a new MacBook Pro. The iPhone 7 has stripped its mobile device of an auxiliary port and now requires audio input to be inserted through the lightning port instead. The new MacBook Pro on the other hand does have a headphone port, but sides to not have a lightning port available.

To resolve the issue of incompatible audio inputs between the iPhone 7 and new MacBook Pro, Apple does have an adapter available to allow auxiliary to convert to a lightning port, but not vice versa.

Apple was expected to launch its AirPods in October 2016 but a day prior to the Hello Again event, they have announced the product will require more time to be publically available. No release date has been given. The AirPods are apple official Bluetooth ear buds to complement its audio performance and wire free accessibility. The AirPods are to be touch sensitive to activate and are expected to be approximately $159 U.S. dollars
