Motorola, Intel help Clearwire by Investing

Clearwire Corp., a high-speed wireless company founded by cell-phone pioneer Craig McCaw, received $1.1 billion in financing from investors including Intel Corp. and Motorola Inc. Clearwire, which said in July it planned to raise $900 million from its backers, also received a $125 million loan, the Kirkland, Wash.-based company said Wednesday.
