Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Artwork Leaks

A few weeks back a rumor started to make the rounds that Ubisoft was at work on a new crossover game that would see Mario and crew fighting alongside that inside rabbit-like creatures called Rabbids. At the time the first leak surfaced we had no artwork to look at as far as the game went.

That has not changed with some artwork turning up on Twitter after being found by someone poking around on Discord. The image was saved and now we get a gander at what the game will look like. Mario and crew are looking serious with weapons in hand fighting an unseen force.

The Rabbids on the other hand are busy being the goobers they are known to be. One is chasing some sort of robot thing dressed as Luigi, high up in the background we see other Rabbids dressed as Yoshi and Mario.

That one Rabbid in the image dressed like Princess Peach is busy taking selfies. Gamespot reports that another website called ComicBook.com was later able to confirm that the leaked artwork is the real deal with anonymous sources and shared the full picture you see here.

The leaked artwork comes ahead of any official announcement about the game from Ubisoft. I’d wager we hear something about the game at E3 when it kicks off next month. Rumors suggest that the game will be a turn-based strategy title with local co-op support and eight playable characters and is expected to be a Nintendo Switch exclusive. The Ubisoft Snowdrop engine is supposed to be behind the game, that’s the same game engine used for The Division.
