Insurgency is Free Until Wednesday

The devs behind the game Insurgency: Sandstorm set to launch on September 18 are celebrating the coming launch of the title with a giveaway of the original. You have until tomorrow to grab the original Insurgency game at no cost and you get to keep it forever. Insurgency is from New World Interactive and is a multiplayer tactical shooter encouraging teamwork.

This game is designed to be very realistic and forces teamwork to get the job done. The realism in the game expands to no regenerating health and you will die if you are hit more than one time. The game has received some good reviews since it launched back in 2014.

To get the game for free you can download it from Steam before 10am PT on August 15. All you need to do is click the Play Game button and it is added to your library.

The devs are certainly hoping some of the folks who download the original will like it enough to buy the new game when it launches next month. If you have the original in your library and do decide to buy the new game next month, you get 10% off PCGamer.
