Kingston’s HyperX has made its way up in the market of gaming peripherals over the years. In addition to their headsets they manufacture a number of memory devices (SSDs, RAM, USB drives) as well as mouse pads and keyboards. At CES 2017 they have announced their new ALLOY RGB and ALLOY FPS Red or Brown Gaming Keyboards.

HyperX currently has the Alloy FPS Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with the Cherry MX Blue switches but is now adding keyboards with the Cherry MX Red and Brown switches to give gamers an option to choose from when deciding which specific key suits their needs. The Cherry MX Blue switch offers a tactile feel with a high pitch clicky sound whereas the Cherry MX Brown and Red switches have nearly no audible sound (the difference being the tactile feel offered in the Cherry MX Brown switch).

The new ALLOY FPS Cherry Red or Brown Gaming Keyboards both have red textured WASD keys to help guide the FPS gamer’s hands to the proper keys without having to move their eyes from the screen. The frame is a made of steel alloy with what is described as a “space-saving layout” that will help with the needed desk space for FPS gamers.

For those of us who love the addition of RGB colors to our setup, we won’t have to worry because HyperX has us covered with their new ALLOY RGB Gaming Keyboards. HyperX’s new RGB Gaming Keyboard provides us with 16M LED colors to choose from along with a durable metal alloy frame. Like many other RGB keyboards, the HyperX ALLOY RGB Gaming Keyboard will offer users the ability to control the lighting profiles. As of now, the type of key switch has not been disclosed in the press release but will be updated accordingly.
