Hulu CEO Jason Kilar and CTO Rich Tom Announce Departure

Hulu CEO Jason Kilar has announced that he will be leaving the online streaming video service by the end of the first quarter of 2013. In an e-mail to Hulu employees, Kilar did not give a specific reason for this departure but also announced that Chief Technical Officer Rich Tom will be leaving also. Hulu recently announced a record revenue of $695 million for 2012 representing more than 3 million paid Hulu Plus subscribers. Hulu is a joint venture of Disney, NBC, Fox News Corp, and Providence Equity Partners.
