FurMark is a very intensive OpenGL benchmark that uses fur rendering algorithms to measure the performance of the graphics card. Fur rendering is especially adapted to overheat the GPU and that’s why FurMark is also a perfect stability and stress test tool (also called GPU burner) for the graphics card.
The benchmark was rendered in full screen mode with no AA enabled on the video cards.
Benchmark Results: Furmark is another tough test. Its benchmark mode tries to get your card as hot as it can while trying to get it to pump out as many frames per second as it can, and as we can see from the results it was right there in the top five going way above and right on par with the other cards in its class that we used today. Nothing like a big giant donut trying to kill your card. Not today, Furmark… not today.
