H1Z1 PvE Mode Gets the Axe

By

Daybreak Games, the dev behind the game Just Survive, has just announced a big change is coming for the original Just Survive H1Z1 PvE mode. The team says that the number of payers of that mode has become too small to maintain the game and as such the mode is being killed off.

The H1Z1 PvE mode set during a zombie apocalypse will be shut down permanently in October. The H1Z1 Battle Royale game will continue since it is popular. That mode was originally developed with help of Brendan Green, the guy behind PUBG.

“After careful consideration, weve made the difficult decision to sunset Just Survive on Wednesday, October 24 at 11 a.m. PT. The excitement of the games promise was palpable, and its loyal community is still full of ideas for its future. Unfortunately, we are no longer in a position to fulfill its greatness and the current population of the game makes it untenable to maintain.”

Some players may be eligible for refunds on the game, presumably only if you purchased in the last few weeks per Steam guidelines. All Steam purchases and in-game transactions are now disabled reports Wccftech.
