Rightmark Audio Analyzer
The RightMark Audio Analyzer suite is designed for testing quality of analog and digital paths of any audio devices, be it a sound card, an MP3 player, a consumer CD/DVD player or an acoustic set. The results are obtained by playing and recording test signals passed through the tested audio path by means of frequency analysis algorithms. Despite using different audio codecs there was very little difference between the boards. The noise level and dynamic range were slightly lower on the Z68XP-UD3-iSSD than the Z68X-UD7-B3 though both boards were able to hit a rating of good in both catagories. The only other area that we saw a difference in was the Stereo Crosstalk, the Z68XP-UD3-iSSD was able to hit a rating of Excellent and the Z68X-UD7-B3 only saw a rating of good. Aside from those differences all of our other scores were spot on with each other.
