The folks over at VideoCardz have published what appears to be retail images of the upcoming Gigabyte Radeon RX Vega 64 Gaming OC graphics card. The AMD Radeon RX VEGA 64 reference design has 4096 stream processors, 8GB 2048-bit HBM2 memory and a core clock of 1247MHz base with a boost clock of 1546MHz. Gigabyte isn’t releasing specifics on this card, but it looks to be using a Gigabyte WindForce 2X GPU cooler and has three HDMI and three DisplayPort video connectors. This is different from the reference card and Gigabyte decided not to play any DVI ports on this model.

This is interesting news as weeks ago we heard Gigabyte was only going to be making a custom Radeon RX Vega 56 card and was going to skip making a custom Radeon RX Vega 64 model. VideoCardz says that the latest batch of Vega 64 GPUs made them change their mind. We can’t wait to see what made them change their mind versus some of the early GPU batches.
