Final Thoughts of the Gigabyte Krypton Mouse

Usage

There is more to a mouse then just gaming, and while most of the mice we use today do fairly well in our games that we play; but, the true test of a mouses abilities comes from when we start working with programs that require a lot of dexterity from us and precision work from the mouse we use. I feel that this is where the Krypton mouse did very well in, while using one of my favorite photo-shop programs I was able to adjust the DPI down low enough to make precision cuts, or make precision adjustments on my images; then, adjust to a higher DPI to move from one side of the screen to the other side quickly and effortlessly. I was able to further customize this mouse to my personal tastes so that I can increase my overall dexterity, while increasing my precision just by either adding/removing, or adjusting the included weights so that my hand does not get tired too quickly. Finally having an extreme DPI setting of 8200 makes me moving around my extremely large desktop resolution of 5760 x 1080 quickly, and smoothly.

I did mess around with the ceramic speed chassis for the Krypton mouse, while it made my movements extremely quick, I lost a lot of my control I needed while playing my games. More over when I would zoom in on an enemy with my sniper scope, I would notice that my view was lightly shaky because any slight movement from my hand was translating directly to my scoped image on my game. I am not going to say this is a bad thing, this is telling me that the speed chassis does not provide much of an resistance against my particular mousing surface.

Final Thoughts

In short, the Gigabyte Krypton mouse is a general purpose/gaming mouse that can be customized to just about anyones preference or personal style. And if you happen to be using only a single surface type of mouse pad but want or need the ability of being able to quickly move from all out control to all out speed this mouse is more than capable of accommodating us. Finally, giving the Krypton mouse the ability of holding or saving multiple profiles onto the mouse directly, gives us the freedom where we can take this mouse, hook it up to any computer and still retain all of our own personal tweaks. I am not talking about just gaming; I am also including anyone who uses more than one computer in any given day. You can personalize this mouse at home, take this mouse to work, plug it into that computer and not have to install anything on to it, but still retain all of your personal profiles (this is just an example).
