Extreme Overclocking Gets Easy With ROBOCLOCKER – Automatically Controlled LN2 Overclocking

By

EVGA is showing off a new semi-closed loop liquid nitrogen cooling setup at Computex 2018 that was created by Vince “KINGPIN” Lucido and Illya “TiN” Tsemenko that looks like it will change liquid nitrogen (LN2) overclocking forever. The pair of EVGA employees became tired of how labor intensive extreme overclocking is as you constantly have to monitor and top off the LN2 in the block from a thermos. K|NGP|N has been dreaming of a way to circulate LN2 automatically where a computer monitors and keeps the system at desired temperatures. After some time tinkering with the idea, K|NGP|N and TiN both came up with a solution called ROBOCLOCKER. ROBOCLOCKER uses two tanks of LN2 with a control module that is connected to a secondary PC for the sake of regulating how much LN2 getting pushed through the coolant lines to custom made LN2 blocks and then out of an exit manifold. The result greatly reduces the stress of watching temperatures and pouring LN2 constantly for extreme overclockers and it allows them to focus on fine tuning clock speeds and watching the benchmarks run. ROBOCLOCKER can run for as long as there is LN2 in the tanks, so it really depends on how large they are. It could run for days as long as the hardware holds up! Once all the lines are down to temperature, it is estimated that around 75% of the LN2 makes it to the output tank.

ROBOCLOCKER has been used for months and already has a handful of overclocking world records to show off. Check out the machine below!
