Ericsson to invest $1 billon in China as 3G grows

Everyone wants a piece of the China pie theese days. It looks like Ericsson are comitted to this. $1Billion is some investment, But with the current uptake of mobile phones and all things technical, who could blame them. China looks like the new world where new business is concerned.
At the company?s Strategy & Technology Summit in Shanghai, Ericsson president and chief executive Carl-Henric Svanberg said the growing demand for mobile content and the handset’s emerging role as a media channel will pave the way for a faster deployment of 3G and HSDPA.
