I was quite impressed with the results returned by the P45T-A motherboard. Performance in general was superior to that of the EVGA 780i motherboard and considering how the P45T-A costs half that of the 780i, I was impressed. The P45 chipset is a rather efficient piece of work and the results show it. The few benchmarks that the P45 board didn’t do well in were unrelated to the P45 chipset but rather the ICH10R south bridge. The SuperPi 32M and wPrime 1024M tests show precisely how much more efficient the P45 chipset was compared to 780i.
