Diablo III: Necromancer Pack: 2017
On November fourth and fifth, Blizzard Entertainment held their tenth annual BlizzCon convention as they celebrate their twenty-fifth anniversary at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Many of their most recent and original game lineups are receiving new content and the same goes for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls for both PC and console with the addition of Diablo III: Necromancer Character Pack.
At long last, the long awaited Necromancer returns from Diablo II and will be a playable character in Diablo III. As the fully playable characters name implies, the Necromancer will use dark magic to raise the dead as your own. The Necromancer will be available along with the Rise of the Necromancer pack expected to be released in 2017. Blizzard has already announced players will require both original Diablo III and the Reaper of Souls expansion to have access to the Necromancer Pack. For console players, this means the Ultimate Evil Edition suffices. The following video demonstrates how the Necromancer functions.
Blizzard has stated, In addition to unlocking the Necromancer as a playable character, players will also receive an in-game pet, two additional character slots, two additional stash tabs (on PC), a portrait frame, pennant, banner, and banner sigil. Along with Blizzard celebrating the Diablo series twenty year anniversary, Blizzard is to release a retro themed mode for Diablo III, themed to simulate the first game in the series. The anniversary patch is to be called The Darkening of Tristram. Blizzard has not released any video footage as of yet to demonstrate how the patch will work.
Console gamers in addition will now be included to the PCs Seasons. Playing in Seasons allows a chance to earn a full class set, pets, and cosmetic items by completing specific goals and placing your name on leaderboards.
The character expansion pack promises to include new enemies, items, and new zones. The expansion pack has yet to have a price marked or a precise release date in 2017
